It’s hard to believe that 2017 will mark our 11th year as an accredited provider of continuing education with the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).  Pharmacy continuing education has changed a lot since then as the profession has turned its focus on maintenance of professional competency and continuing professional development.   At Roseman, we are in strong support of this initiative and welcome opportunities to help professionals keep their knowledge and skills current, allowing them to provide the best possible care for their patients. We also work towards helping pharmacists meet their requirements for re-licensure in Nevada and Utah by offering CE activities focused on law and by providing opportunities to receive live continuing education.  As we look to the future of CE, we are hoping to provide opportunities for pharmacists to gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on skills which translate to immediate practice opportunities through credentialing.  We’ve worked with the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) as a licensed provider for immunization training for as long as we’ve been providing continuing education, but more recently, we’ve expanded our offerings to include certificate programs in medication therapy management and diabetes.

We hope to see you at future CE activities but we also hope to hear from you.  If we aren’t offering something that you need, we promise to try to find it for you.  We occasionally have the flexibility to offer something which was not originally in our plans.  Since our mission is to expand continuing education opportunities, we’ve also partnered with specific employers to offer customized CE activities.

On behalf of the Roseman University College of Pharmacy Continuing Professional Education Program, we look forward to meeting your continuing education needs in the future.  Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or requests.
