Roseman’s Research Center on Substance Abuse and Depression in collaboration with the College of Pharmacy Drug Abuse Awareness Team, (DAAT) in Nevada has already begun to gather data by benchmarking middle and high school attitudes, beliefs, and usage of illegal substances including tobacco, alcohol, prescription drugs, and illicit drugs.  The study is currently being fielded in Clark County.  One high school has been surveyed to date, and a high response rate provided nearly 1000 respondents.  The team continues to work to secure additional survey test dates from other schools and plans to move into rural communities later in the year.
